How it works

After you sign up with Troglo you receive a WiFi device that is fully monitored and managed by us. When your customers now connect to your WiFi network, Troglo will send them to your branded portal page which includes targeted promotions based on location, store, time or even customer profile. After they have clicked connect, they are free to use your Internet connection. You manage the content on your portal page yourself on the Troglo dashboard.

Create a promotion (1:04 minutes)

We don’t want you spend a lot of time on Troglo so we made content management as easy as possible. You can create relevant promotions with just a few clicks, and the learning curve is really short. But don’t take our word for it, watch the video and see for yourself.



Add formatting to your promotion (45 seconds)

Sometimes your promotion needs that little extra to hit home. Your choice of image is the most important piece in that picture, but text formatting can be very effective. How about adding a bolder title, or maybe a short bullet list? Troglo is not your regular WYSIWYG html editor that it takes weeks to master. With a few simple commands and a little bit of practice you will get the hang of it. See how easy it is in this video.

Terms and Conditions

Can I try your service? Troglo offers 60-day trials for all qualifying new customers. No credit card or commitment is required.

Does the service include WiFi Access Points? Yes, one or more Troglo WiFI devices are provided per location.

Who is responsible for supporting these WiFi Access Points? Troglo manage, monitor and support the devices, and it is included in the monthly. We also provide advance replace of hardware as needed.

Who owns the access points? Troglo retains ownership of the access points.

If I end my subscription, what happens to the access point? If you should end your subscription the access point will stop functioning. You have to return the access point to Troglo within 30 days of cancelling your subscription to avoid being charged for the Access Point.

Do I have to commit for one year to start my service? No, our services are month to month. We do offer incentives if have a larger network of stores and/or would like to prepay for one year of service. Please contact us for details.


Can Troglo work with an existing WiFi network? Yes, it will. Please contact us for details on who as it may depend you the equipment that you have today.

Does my customers have to log in to use the network? No. Troglo is designed to derive customer insight and drive customer engagement using WiFi.  In other words the value to you increases as more customers are using it. Requesting customers to log-in with a social media account or email address dramatically reduces the usability of the service; in some cases usage might drop by as much as 90%.

If they don’t log-in, how can you provide information about them to me? Troglo analyzes millions of records every day, and the metrics we present are derived from hundreds of thousands of WiFi users. It is big data analytics for restaurants, bars and cafes. Keep in mind that you CAN also run email signup or Facebook “like” campaigns, but they are voluntary – customers don’t have to sign up or like you to use your network.

Can I allow local managers to create promotions for their stores? Yes, absolutely. You can allow for local, regional or overall access to create content and view metrics. You can even manage multiple restaurant chains from one account. This is useful if you have centralized marketing for several brands or maybe you are a service provider?

Can I schedule promotions? Yes, you can schedule campaigns based on time, location and customer profile. You can have multiple targeted posts running at the same time.

Customer privacy

Some of my customers are concerned about their privacy when using my free WiFi service. What should I tell them? They are completely safe. We don’t capture personally identifiable information nor do we share or provide access to individual data records to anyone. Troglo’s technology only captures anonymized data about customers and presents this information in aggregate format to your business for the purpose of providing a better in-store experience.

Should I have worry about privacy? No, when it comes to usage of the Troglo provided WiFi network, we are responsible for having proper privacy and to security measures in place.
